Cliff "Johnnybax" Josephy was recently announced as the newest pro in the UltimateBet stable. It is sort of funny because everyone is up in arms when Cliff has represented UB multiple times in the past. He was given a free trip to Aruba in the event where he came in 2nd. Nevertheless, the announcement comes at a horrible time for Cliff and it looks like PokerXFactor will be dealing with some friendly fire for a bit. Mindwise posted in his blog details of their deal, trust me he would not be doing that if he was not scared of losing customers. At the moment people are not up for giving UB/AP the benefit of the doubt giving their recent cheating scandals. It looks like UB is hoping that Cliff can help them with some public relations but so far all of the response has been horrible.

The timing of the announcement comes at a bad time because UB has not released it's finding from the NioNio scandal. I think Cliff would have rather been announced after the findings but truthfully I do not think it would have mattered.
