The decline of poker is being well documented. I think today we got some good news because this allows more and better coverage for pokers premiere event. A lot of people are weighing in on this so I am including a link from an article the USA Today did.

Make no mistake about it, in this case change is good. I was a bit reluctant to even play the Main Event this year, the time commitment is extreme. This is just enough to make the difference and I have to say it has me a little excited about the prospects for the event and the future of poker.
